Walking with you through your emotional healing
This allows me to focus on a blended approach to support each of my clients through their challenging experience. My foundational theory is Person-Centred, meaning I believe you have the strength and capacity to self-heal through our therapeutic relationship. This is a collaboration in which we journey together through the counselling process, exploring your needs while maintaining the focus on your desired outcome of therapy.

Before becoming a qualified counsellor, I worked as a nurse (RGN) at St. Thomas' Hospital, London, specialising in pre- and post-operative major surgery and orthopaedics. I also hold a Diploma in Fitness Personal Training and have experience coaching individuals to improve their physical wellbeing.
I bring a wealth of experience and qualifications to my counselling practice, enabling me to support clients with a wide range of needs.

Grief can be overwhelming, confusing and deeply personal. I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk or just be present. Together, we can gently explore your feelings and help you make sense of what you are experiencing. I will support you in finding your grief journey.
PTSD can leave you disconnected from yourself and others. Safe trauma therapy prioritises your emotional needs while ensuring your nervous system's safety. This means exploring grounding techniques and using guided imagery to help you feel contained so you can safely explore your experience.
Children and young people typically express their feelings through behaviour, play or withdrawal, especially when the world feels overwhelming. They can experience a range of challenges in their relationships at home, school & with themselves. The role also involves exploring and working with neurodivergence, as well as managing individual needs and coping strategies.
Living as a neurodivergent adult can bring strengths, creativity, and insight, along with challenges such as overwhelm, masking, and burnout. I offer an affirming, non-judgemental space that respects different ways of thinking, processing and relating. Together, we explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, promoting self-acceptance, clearer boundaries and a life that feels more sustainable and authentic.
Understanding the benefit for individual clients of working with a Therapy dog to reduce anxiety & engage with the counselling process.
My foundation theory is built on a Person-Centred approach. This means that I prioritise your unique experience, creating a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. i will listen and reflect back your emotions to help you gain insight and self-understanding. Importantly, I believe you have the strength and capacity to self-heal through our therapeutic relationship. I use my integration to blend evidence-based theory and skills as appropriate, to meet your specific needs. I will always discuss a way of working with you or introducing a therapeutic tool, such as a grounding technique using the evidence based, polyvagal theory.

We all experience difficult seasons in our lives need and need support to help us to make sense of what’s going on. It is not easy reaching out but trying to manage on our own can feel very lonely. It takes courage to ask for help.
My personal experience with counselling was one of feeling heard and understood. Developing a trusting relationship allowed me to be vulnerable and honest about my feelings in a safe space. Gradually, I was able to process my feelings with her compassionate, patient support and embark on my healing journey.
Later on, I undertook five years of counselling training, which gave me the opportunity to dig deep in understanding the needs of my authentic self, which in turn enabled me to develop my personal person-centred approach to counselling both adults and young people.
Lastly, I have had the privilege of working alongside so many courageous and exceptional individuals.
